Important references for the massage -Gymnastics

1. The Gecko-Ball is predominantly intended for the acupuncture points situated on the muscles; apply only light pressure to the spine and to particularly sensitive nerve zones. In the case of spinal injuries do not exercise any pressure. In the case of pregnant women do not apply in the abdominal area.

2. Persons with pacemakers should, as a precaution, avoid the Gecko-Ball on account of the magnetism.

3. In the case of acute injury to the joints, inflammation and in the event of swellings do not use the Gecko-Ball in the regions affected.

4. As, in the exercises with the Gecko-Ball exertion of pressure by one’s own body is necessary , a slight pressure pain on performance can arise everywhere. If this pain should be unusually severe you should discontinue the exercises. It is important for you to feel at ease in using them.

5. Always carry out the stimulation of the Massage points on both sides.

6. After the exercises, reactions such as so-called ”stiff muscles” can arise. These reactions are normal so long as they do not last unusually long or are not greatly pronounced. Otherwise discontinue the exercises for a few days.

7. Breath regularly during the exercises and do not hold your breath.

8. Perform each application about 9 times with around 3 repeats at a time. Take a break of at least 3 minutes after each round.

9.In the event of misgivings of any kind, to be on the safe side see a doctor before you start the training.

Aku-gymnastics with the Gecko-Ball enables one to carry out the Massage on each point of the body oneself.  Massage -just like Akupuncture -is an effective therapy recognised worldwide. Nevertheless Aku-gymnastics cannot replace Massage and should be regarded as an additional help and support.
